In addition to providing the MIT community with access to the visual and performing arts through free admission to local arts institutions (for student, faculty and staff) and offering discounted tickets to local arts events for MIT students, as well as support for arts projects that engage the MIT community, the Council for the Arts at MIT provides annual support to important arts organizations and programs across the Institute.
Annual allocations include the List Visual Arts Center, the MIT Museum, the Center for Art, Science & Technology (CAST), the MIT Program in Art, Culture and Technology (ACT), Student Art Programs, and more.
