Improve your throwing and hand-building skills in this intermediate level class.  Develop confidence with your skills while we focus on lids, rims and feet, handles, spouts, and more. A variety of glazing, slips, and surface techniques will also be explored.

Tuition for ceramics classes includes a materials fee that helps cover the cost of clay, glazes, and firing.

*Basic community clay tools are available for use however it’s recommended that intermediate level students purchase their own tools.   Tool kits are available online and at Blick Art in Central Square.  We will discuss various tools that you may want to add to your toolbox in time.

Tuition and Fees:

MIT Undergraduate + Graduate Students $160 | MIT Faculty, Staff, Spouses, Alumni $310 | Materials Fee: $25
