IAP26 Thursday Beyond Single Exposures

In this course, we’ll use both analog methods of producing composite photographic images through layering, collaging, and stitching. Tools will include darkroom techniques, image transfer, and basic scissors-and-glue. No prior experience is necessary. The course will discuss the use of formal archives and other sources of imagery, and recontextualization and compositing as a transformative artistic practice.

*All supplies for this class will be provided by the studio and paid for through the materials fee.
