IAP26 Tuesday Drawing Intensive

Day/Time: 4 Tuesdays starting January 6, 12:00—3:00pm

This intensive introduction to drawing provides students with the tools to translate the observed world around them into a representational visual image. Students will engage with, and explore, a plethora of drawing methodologies such as mark-making, layering, additive/subtractive drawing, and the articulation of line, value, shape, volume, weight, gesture, and composition, and over four weeks, embark on a detailed study of a still life through the medium of charcoal.

*All supplies for this class will be provided by the studio and paid for through the materials fee.
