Join us for an evening workshop—part lecture, part demonstration—exploring the work of Maureen Mills. Mills’s recent work incorporates layers of surface work, beginning with the soft clay surface through the glazing and firing process, yielding a variety of effects that relate graphically to the form. Using inscribed text, masking techniques, texturing, and stamping techniques, Mills will share her making and decorating process on and off the wheel.
