Your clay skills will be taken to another level while we explore advanced techniques such as altering, stretching and cutting. Think ovals with oval lids or rim treatments that command attention. Feet and handle techniques, oozy slips and various decorative techniques for surfaces will round out this popular course.
It is mandatory that you have taken beginner and intermediate classes prior, though completion of those courses does not guarantee you are at the advanced level. Should you have questions about the appropriate class for you to take, please be in touch with the instructor or the studio manager.
Materials and firing fees are included in the price of ceramics courses.
This class meets 10 Tuesdays starting February 20 from 7:00-10:00pm in the Ceramics Studio (W20-431) and is taught by Darrell Finnegan.
