SP22 Wednesday Introduction to Color Theory

Day/Time: 10 Wednesdays starting February 16, 7:30-10:00pm 

There is no class March 23.

Location: SAA 2D Studio (W20-425)

Interaction of Color will change the way you see the world around you. Rooted in Josef Albers’ famous color theory methodologies, each exercise will train the eye to see subtle shifts in varying hues, analyze color relationships, and examine how the human eye perceives color.
This course is designed for anyone, regardless of creative background, and it’s lessons can be applied across media and areas of study.

Required Supplies:
Color-Aid Paper, 3”x4.5”, 314 colors
Cutting Mat
Exacto Knife
Scissors
Rubber Cement
Bristol Board paper, 9×12

Materials can be purchased at Artist and Craftsman Supply and Blick Art, both in Central Square.
