This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals and processes of drawing. Students will engage with, and explore, a plethora of drawing methodologies such as mark-making, layering, additive/subtractive drawing, and the articulation of line, shape, volume, weight, gesture, and composition. Through exercises that are grounded in observation, students will gain technical skills, confidence, and a critical eye for representing various subject matters and concepts.

- Conte a Paris Matchbox Set of 4 crayons – Assorted Sketching Color (white, black, sanguine, sienna)

- Pencils (4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B)
- Pencil sharpener
- Suitable pencilcase
