This mixed level class is designed for those who want to advance their skill level from beginning to intermediate level as we cover topics such as lids, feet, rims and handles. We will shift course when necessary to further explain the “how’s and why’s”. Clay slips, underglazes and various surface decorating techniques will also be discussed. Be prepared to add numerous tips to your growing skill set!
Tuition for ceramics classes includes a materials fee that helps cover the cost of clay, glazes, and firing.
*Students must purchase their own 8 piece (minimum) pottery tool kit for class, available online and at Blick Art in Central Square.
