This mixed level class is designed for those who want to advance their skill level from Beginning to Intermediate. As we cover topics such as lids, feet, rims, and handles… we will reverse coarse when necessary to further explain the “how’s and why’s”. Clay slips, underglazes,and various surface decorating techniques will also be discussed. Be prepared to add numerous tips to your growing skill set!
*Basic community clay tools are available for use but it is recommended that students at the Intermediate level have their own tools. Tool kits are available at Artist and Craftsman and Blick Art in Central Square. We will discuss various tools that you may want to add to your toolbox in time.
