This class introduces students to the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing. You’ll learn fundamental techniques to confidently create on the potter’s wheel, including making bowls, cups, and mugs. This is your gateway into ceramics and the pottery wheel—a welcoming introduction to this amazing medium, suitable for beginner students.

Materials: Students must purchase their own 8 piece (minimum) pottery tool kit for class, available online and at Blick Art in Central Square.

*Materials fee helps cover the cost of clay, glazes, and firing.
