SU26 Monday/Wednesday Introduction to Drawing

Day/Time: 4 Mondays and Wednesdays starting June 15, 12:30pm-3:00pm
*This class meets 2 times a week for four weeks

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of drawing. Students will explore a plethora of drawing methods such as mark-making, layering, additive/subtractive drawing, and the articulation of line, value, shape, volume, weight, gesture, and composition. Through exercises grounded in observation and realistic rendering, students will gain technical skills, confidence, and a critical eye for representing various subject matters and concepts.

Materials: All materials will be covered through the materials fee for this course.
