SP19 Optional Wood Fire Extension

As an optional add-on to Wednesday Advanced Ceramics, the focus of this class extension is on creating pieces to be fired in NHIA’s Fushigigama kiln. By registering,  you commit to one shift each of loading/unloading and two shifts of firing the kiln. The SAA is committed to running this extension at cost, so signing up indicates your commitment to participate. For this reason, we are not able to offer tuition discounts or refunds after registration.

The cost of the class extension is $165 regardless of your MIT affiliation and includes the use of Cone 10 stoneware (in class use only), wood fire glazes and slips, and a portion of the shares of the kiln that the SAA is renting.
