Including trips to the Peabody Essex Museum and to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra, a dinner with members of the Council for the Arts at MIT (CAMIT) and private meetings with artists Johnny Gandelsman, Sarah Cahill, Agnieszka Kurant and Newton Harrison.
The MIT Arts Scholars Program brings together students who are passionate about exploring the diverse array of arts available at MIT and in the Boston area, and interacting with fellow students, faculty artists and other experts in the art world.
Past activities include trips to New York City, private dinners with arts professionals, behind-the-scenes tours of art exhibitions and workshops with MIT Visiting Artists.
