Master Class: Kyla Toomey

During this workshop Kyla will demonstrate the techniques she has developed over time, emphasizing throwing then altering, and looking at the role these alterations have in making dynamic pottery. The class will begin with a demonstration about how to make your own tools and how this can help to develop work with a strong personal voice. Kyla will then demonstrate how to throw strong forms that will be altered in a variety of ways off the wheel.
