Marisa Morán Jahn
Of Chinese and Ecuadorian descent, Marisa Morán Jahn is an artist, activist, and immersive media producer. Jahn is the Founder of Studio REV-, a New York based team that uses sound research and bold ideas to produce creative media that impacts the lives of low-wage workers, immigrants, and teens. A graduate of MIT, her work has been presented at venues such as The White House, Museum of Modern Art, Walker Art Center, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; received grants and awards such as Tribeca Film Institute’s New Media Fund, Rockefeller Cultural Innovation Fund; and reached millions through on-the-street outreach and media broadcast in outlets ranging from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, ArtForum, Univision, and more.
