SAA Classes

Registration for the 2023 Independent Activities Period (IAP) will open to MIT undergraduate and graduate students on December 7, 2022. All other affiliations may register starting December 14 at 12:00pm. In the meantime, please subscribe to our mailing list to receive email notification about registration and other updates.

You must have an active MIT ID, Kerberos ID, and be up to date in COVID Pass to participate in SAA classes.

The Student Art Association (SAA) provides extra-academic, hands-on instruction and studio experience in the arts for all levels in a range of media. Priority registration is given to MIT undergraduate and graduate students, though all MIT affiliates may participate as space permits. Sign up to develop or refine your art in an open, hands-on, relaxed environment.
